Taps In Bachata

In bachata, the most common tap on counts 4 and 8 is done close to the other foot. By using the same mechanics - keeping your whole weight on one leg while the other one

is marking the count - you can spice up your basic very easily. Instead of the ordinary tap, change the spot of your foot on the floor or take it off the floor - lift your knee or use a sharp kick. A simple small change in the way you tap can make your bachata basic look original and versatile.
